what are the benefits?

By joining the CC-IUCN, you will demonstrate your leadership in the conservation of nature in Canada. In addition to contributing to the committee, you will have the opportunity to learn from and network with approximately 30 Canadian member organizations and 40 individuals, including government agencies, NGOs, Indigenous Peoples’ organizations and scientific and academic institutions.

Being a member of the CC-IUCN provides extensive opportunities to amplify your message amongst Canada’s conservation community. Members become part of a collective of like-minded individuals who are passionate about important issues relating to biodiversity in Canada.

At CC-IUCN annual gatherings, members from across the country come together to discuss timely and pressing topics related to conservation. The gathering is an opportunity to develop and deepen relationships and foster collaborations. It provides a space for organisations and individuals to share their work and progress with one another.

There are specific benefits to joining the CC-IUCN depending on whether you are also a member of the IUCN.
